I am used to seeing the rose like moss roses, the double layered ones but, when I went to Usha nursery in ariyallur, kerala to get some plants, I saw these huge single layered moss rose blooms. I immediately ditched the double layered ones I had planned on buying (dirt cheap at Rs 8 per plant) and got these (Rs 15 ). Unfortunately the blooms are not as big as the ones in the nursery. Either its cos of the climatic differences or its cos its been newly transplanted. I am hoping its the latter.One day I have to blog about Usha nursery in ariyallur, Kerala, where I bought these plants from. Its a truly amazing place, a huge collection of plants, very reasonable rates and a beautiful place to visit.
Today's thought : Where are the crafts posts ? I am wondering if naming this blog eclectickrafter was a mistake :-p
