My first handmade doll

I have always wanted to make handmade dolls. Sometime back I saw some blogs featuring Waldorf dolls on oneprettything.com. Using tips and ideas from Simmy  and the silver penny, I made this doll for my niece from an old t-shirt. The dress is made from an old torn dish towel Mom had. For the hair, I sewed on yarn using a really large needle after I made the doll. I don't have a sewing machine and the uneven hand stitches I used shows. I also did not know how to stitch-close the neck properly and hence the doll neck is all wonky. But just the thought that I made this doll from scratch makes me oh-so-happy :D.
